Rotary kiln incinerators
Process description
1. Feedstock loading
• waste is fed into the combustion chamber by an automated feeder
2. Waste thermal treatment
• carried out in the combustion chamber, the temperature is maintained automatically by burners
• the chamber is supplied with air by fan for improving the combustion process
• exposure (shutter speed) of the flue gas is carried in the post-combustion chamber with subsequent cooling in the scrubber
3. Flue gases cleaning
Mechanical cleaning of the flue gases
• purification of the solid components (fly ash, used lime and coal) is performed in the cyclone
Chemical cleaning of flue gases
• carried out in the scrubber
4. Transportation and removal of flue gas
5. Ash unloading
• ash from the chamber enters the collector
Option: energy recovery (steam, hot water, electricity)
Rotary kiln incinerators:
- suitable for the disposal of large volumes of waste
- used for paste type waste treatment
Advantages:
- the possibility of using heat recovery technology
