Marine incinerators
Process description
1. Feedstock loading
Liquid waste:
• pre-heat treated, the waste is pumped through the nozzles to the incinerator
• pressurized air is supplied for spraying to the nozzle
Solid waste:
• solid waste is fed into the incinerator through the loading hatch
2. Waste thermal treatment
• performed in a combustion chamber
• the temperature in the combustion chamber is maintained automatically by burners
• a vacuum is created
3. Flue gases cooling
• flue gases are mixed with air and cooled in the exhaust ventilation system
4. Flue gases removal
• cooled flue gases sent to the central gas collector by fan
Advatages:
- applied to treatment of a wide range of waste (liquid, solid, etc.)
