The commissioning of unique incineration plant КТО-1000.Ш developed by the order of Russian Railways is being completed

The specialists Safe Technologies Industrial Group are working on old sleepers treatment facility КТО-1000.Ш at the station Tagul in Irkutsk region. Commissioning and testing of the equipment is scheduled at the end of this year.

Waste thermal treatment facility of this type was made by Safe Technologies for the first time. The designing was based on specific customer requirements: the need to dispose large quantities of waste sleepers (up to 100 000 sleepers per year), and preservation of the environment of the Baikal region. As a result, the facility was designed with a capacity of 1000 kg per hour, equipped with a multi-stage flue-gas cleaning system. High capacity plant will use the heat generated during the treatment process for the heating and hot water supply to facilities.

The facility is equipped with control system, blocking out it in case of deviation from the norm of technological parameters. This prevents premature wear of the equipment. Management of the facility is carried out by an automatic system or manually from the remote control panel.

КТО-1000.Ш will increase the productivity of existing facility of Russian Railways in 3 times.
