Sleepers’ treatment facility of Safe technologies production is recognized as Technology of the Year

A joint project of JSC Russian Railways and Safe Technologies Industrial Group, a workshop for old sleepers’ treatment at railway station Tagul, has been praised by experts.

At the competition 100 Best Organizations of Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management, which was held in St. Petersburg, East Siberian Railway, branch of JSC Russian Railways, became the winner in the nominations For Achievements in the Field of Industrial and Household Waste Treatment and Technology of the Year. ‘This is the result of joint work of Russian Railways and Safe Technologies,’ said the Head of the Center of Environment of the East Siberian Railway Andrey Kryuchkov.

Safe Technologies Industrial Group has designed and manufactured sleepers’ treatment facility КТО-1000.Ш commissioned by JSC Russian Railways. The facility is designed to solve a serious environmental and economic challenges associated with the disposal of old sleepers. Multistage flue gas cleaning system and strict quality control over the equipment of Safe Technologies manufacturing provides ecological safety of waste thermal destruction. Moreover, the heat recovered during the process of treatment can be used for industrial premises heating.
