Incinerator КТО-50.К20 began working at Regional Hospital in Chita, Eastern Siberia

The new medical facility with 600 beds has begun work in the Trans-Baikal region. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, including the possibility provided for medical waste disposal. This function will performed by the incinerator КТО-50.К20 of Safe Technologies production.

The construction of regional hospital in Chita was planned in the framework of the federal program Development of Siberia and the Far East. Incinerator КТО-50.К20 was commissioned by the opening of the institution. The company’s experts conducted performance tests of installation and trained staff.

Industrial waste thermal treatment facilities are an effective solution for the treatment of medical waste. At temperatures 800-900°C even infectious waste treatment is carried out. Multistage flue gases cleaning comprising a stage of post-combustion at 1200°C, subsequent processing and filtering, prevents ingress of harmful substances in an amount above the permissible values.
